Stray Voltage Testing, LLC has been in business for twenty two years and has conducted on-farm testing for over 2300 dairy farms throughout New York, New England, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Maryland and Ohio.Throughout the past twenty two years, 90% of the dairy farms that have been tested by Stray Voltage Testing, LLC, have been proven to have stray voltage exist on them. Out of the 90% of the farms that stray voltage exists on, 75% tend to be on-farm problems.
These problems can be easily fixed by updating the electrical systems located on the dairy farmstead. For the remaining 25% of the dairy farms that cannot be easily fixed by the farmer or his or her electrician, Stray Voltage Testing, LLC offers the Electronic Grounding System (EGS), that will reduce neutral to earth stray voltage to tolerable levels.
It is the EGS that detects and reduces stray voltage in a simple and effective manner. It consists of an electronic compensator, a detecting electrode system and a grounding electrode system.
There are many symptoms that the farmer may look out for that tend to be warning signs of stray voltage on dairy farms.
